Working safely
Prevention plan
Simultaneous operations controlled, in the form the regulations demand.
The situation
As soon as a contractor works on a client site, French law makes a prevention plan mandatory (decree of 20 February 1992, articles R.4512-6 ff.). It requires a prior joint site inspection, assessment of the risks created by simultaneous operations, and signature by both parties. Drafted in a word processor, it is rarely current, and its validity lapses without anyone noticing.
What the module does
The plan is built in stages: participants and their roles, types of work, hazards and preventive measures drawn from a configurable catalogue, work zones on a site plan, waste and tracking slips.
Both parties sign electronically, including from a mobile. The regulatory document is generated and expiry monitored automatically.
The rule that makes the difference
The joint site inspection is recorded and blocks approval until it has taken place — the single item most often missing during an inspection.
Key benefits
- Regulatory compliance held, joint site inspection included
- A shared hazard catalogue, instead of copy-pasting one plan into the next
- Remote signature, with no travel and no printing
- No more lapsed plan lying around: the system flags it
